(if i am wrong and they somehow grab him back in free agency while holding onto cespedes and a good a's draft pick, that would amount to pure evil genius. but i'm not betting on that happening.)

Just watched the Red Sox HOF ceremony. I'd call the ovation for Clemens somewhere between respectful and enthusiastic. It seemed clear, though, that it was louder for Nomar, and Pedro was obviously the star of the show.
