PP, you often engage in meta threads with hypotheticals, metaphors and extremely vague expressions of dissatisfaction. It's hard to know what point you're trying to make, or if you have one.

• Shakey's complaints that 77 is elite is inaccurate.
• His thoughts on 77 are likely inaccurate because he has no access.
• He doesn't want to have to make a request or ask a mod to go in.
• There's no question he deserves access, so what if he didn't have to ask.

I'm 99% satisfied with ILX (FREE DOM.) I'm not sure what other vague expressions of dissatisfaction you're remembering, but what if I don't really have a point betcha didn't even think of that one huh?

it may no longer be elitist in its present form, but that doesn't mean I approve of it. I wouldn't exactly be rushing to join a country club that used to exclude Jews just cuz they were finally forced to, knowhutimean?

- the only ways to know if someone is a regular is either by their posting history or through recognition by another
- people change accounts so there is no algorithmic way to do it by post history by the system
- very few people who have requested access are denied, if any

I guess the main point is that it's perfectly fine if you don't want access, but acting like you're an anti-elitist or some sort of egalitarian is disingenuous. You just want to use ilx as a completely-public board where all interactions happen in that space. That's fine.

tbrr I am not upset about this, 99% of the time I don't even think about 77, it's all out of sight/out of mind and I don't care. this is the first time something I posted got moved there and I wanted to know what was up. that is all.
