I uploaded a rough draft last night because I was excited and tonight I fixed it into a final draft.

Hello, mods. This is The Onceler aka Cap'n Lorax

Following an incident of me annoying other users (guilty) while I was having a hypomanic episode (not an excuse, just a statement of bi-polar), I was banned from ILX. Please look into whether I can come back to this site since I'm mostly just a harmless yet opinionated user. I did not have the intent of coming on to anyone in the autism thread even if comes off that way. I know I acted like a dick and I deserve to be banned from that thread. I came off as a weird, cocky troll. I wasn't trying to troll anyone.

Matt DC was wrong that I was serving a mandated bann. He was wrong that I "enthusiastically" requoted bad Cap'n Lorax posts. Actually reposting those was for my own good. Step 5 (acceptance) involves me confronting things about myself that make me sick to my stomach.

For every one bad day I've had, there are months of normal posts. I try to be a better poster. If people only see one side of me than they aren't reading all the threads that I post in.

The worst part about being banned is slander, exaggerations, insinuations, misinterpretations and spiteful posts that I cannot defend. Also, I don't like advice from people that cannot give advice without belittling someone. When someone is banned there is way no way for them to contact a mod or anyone else using the built-in e-mail function.

That's all I wanted to say. Please let my bann have a time limit.

Seen and acknowledged. I've brought it to the attention of other mods for discussion. It's a weekend though, so you might have to be patient because people tend not to be around.

Also, I really fucking hate that Jim O'Rourke cover so like, of all the threads to revive...

So, no one seemed to have any overwhelming objections to letting you back in. That said, maybe posts about gender really aren't your thing (see also the trans thread from 2012). No one thought your posts on the autism thread were funny or cool. Any FPs from those posts still stand. So welcome back and just try to chill out and settle down and maybe go enjoy that conspiracy thread about the nuclear missile.
