For some reason my sub-board admin rights don't allow me to delete this post, when I try to do it I get "an error has occurred; please try again shortly":

I see that another mod has already deleted the person's name from the post, but I think there's still way too much recognizable information and accusations towards a third party, so IMO the whole post should be deleted. I do hope the site mods agree, but feel free to use your own judgment.

I've locked the thread and explained the reasons for doing so. ILTMI should be a safe space for discussing personal matters, so this kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

Thanks for that Tuomas. I appreciate you doing that. As far as I know the Delete button doesn't work for any mod any more. Are you able to click on the little box at the end of the list of mod actions and then hit "Delete Selected Posts" at the bottom of the thread? I don't actually know WHAT sub-board admin rights even look like, so I'm curious if the workaround I described is available to you.

Yes, a number of people have obliquely mentioned their discomfort and you can add me to those ranks.

Just FYI the full text of the post, including names which should be redacted, is still visible on the admin log. Don't know if you can do something about that, but if it's possible, someone should, and if not; something to add to the upgrade list.

I'll leave that for the site mods to decide... I can only ban him from ILTMI, but I don't want to do it right away, I'm hoping he gets it and doesn't do the same again. But yeah, more posts like that and he's off the board.

Just thought I'd point out theres *still* a completely unredacted copy of the removed post in the admin log. Ones gone but another exists further down.
