honestly this stuff isn't really vaporwave, but uses its imagery, retro-futuristic fetish and *some* of the sound sources to make sugar rush IDM. and there's a Kool & the Gang cover!

New Nmesh album is out and it's pretty fuckin wild. It's not even really vaporwave, more like a plunderphonic EDM album (one track is Squarepusher-like drum n bass), but if you dig his other stuff you'll probably like this too. Not even done listening yet and I think it's his best one.

I prefer the original and ambient stuff over than the detuned 70s and "virtual" subgenres
