Worst show ever!

SSMWWT are supposed to open the show at 9:30, don't show up until 10:20, and
don't want to start the show.

Cops investigate noise complaint in building third week in a row, issue
third warning to landlord during Subarachnoid Space set.

Subarachnoid prematurely cut off from set through insistence of Adam
Stonehouse.

Show moves upstairs.

Liza (SSMWWT) takes a warehousemates pizza and throws it to the ground in
pass from bathroom to show in front of my face and later denies this like
the holocaust again in front of my face, this time to it. This is a
pointless action no matter who it happens to, but our angelic
drogas-providing neighbor, why, why, why, what gives? What did he do to you
Miss Caribou? WTF is shorthand for what the fuck!

Group of three dudes (Patrick the fur dude from the SSMWWT entourage, and
the Macauly Culkin looking kid, and big tall derby hat, who has no name but
can be distinguished by his tallness, his bigness, and his derby hat) bust
apart the vent on the dryer and some of the washing machine pipes, flooding
a warehousemate's bedroom and alerting the warehouse.

Same group closes and locks bathroom door and more mischief of an unseen
variety occurs (heavy graffitti tagged all the bathrooms and our
warehousemates walls). The secretive locking of the door leads to anger
amongst the warehouse mates. They punch Macauly Culkin in the face. The
three kids leave and someone hears the sound of broken glass, seconds later
the exit from which they left is spotted with a broken bottom window (hello
resident crackheads of Market street, you are now welcome to freely roam our
warehouse).

Warehousemates corner the group of three and ask them to apologize and
assume responsibility for the expensive things they are breaking. the kids
maintain and proclaim innocence. They leave the party and call the cops. 4
more Oakland pigs come and run around our building and file a formal
complaint.

All bands and friends of bands block in warehouse parking space inciting
further fury (and after being informed not to as is house policy for all
bands at these shows), some feel a need to take issue with this policy and
with the people whom have space and/or cars blocked in. It is a big
shouting match and I mediate as Zach Houstan and others get yelled at.

I kick a panda in the balls because I am sick of this shit and want to see
it sac-sad eyes.

So so many white white tigers assume no responsibility for their friends and
their actions.

We have damage to clean up, cops that will be watching our home and who have
issued verbal and written (though I have not seen these yet) moratoriums on
parties thrown in the entire space.

Zach and my roommate Holly are still awake come 6am painting some of the
graffitti so as to avoid further conflict. Our window is still broken. Our
washers and dryers are definitely damaged, not sure how broke until I try
them today.

Everyone except those involved throwing the shows last night, who has space
in the warehouse, is extremely pissed at Grandma's House, and our upstairs
show throwing neighbors (Muscle Beach).

All shows are cancelled for the forseeable future, (at least three months),
and the place is probably cashed this year anyways, so that might have been
the last Grandma's House show.

If anyone can help reschedule space we had two shows coming up, one for La
Flange Du Mal, The Weegs, and others on 4/8 and Helios Creed, sixes and
others on March 25th, you would be an excellent lifesaver, let me know what
I can do to assist with putting these shows on wherever we reschedule (door,
etc.)

Grandma's House was a house, not a venue, but home to venue-like ventures,
to be treated like your favorite toilet seat you sit to shit with...

Respected my friends.

Would these bands/groupies treat the Hemlock/El Rio/Stork Club the same way?

White Tigers had no intention of shutting down Grandma's house. None
of us, or our friends called the police until lives were being
threatened. How that escalated, is something that none of us were
witness to because we were upstairs or otherwise inside until after
our friends had fled. while we were moving gear and trying to leave
thats when I realized somthing fucked had occurred.

I was really excited to play the show, I love all the bands who
played that night and would love to play with them again. I don't
understand where all of this talk of destruction is coming from
because none of us broke anything or messed anything up. I did bump
into a man holding a pizza, and he tripped. I apologized to him, and
the pizza remained IN THE BOX, AND IN TACT. THE PIZZA SURVIVED THE
INCIDENT!

Thank God. I could really understand how things could turn Battle
Royale after a pizza gets dropped. That would have been
catastrophic, and maybe the world, just for a moment, would have
stopped rotating. But thankfully that didn't have to happen.

I've read all of your emails, and and I don't feel the need to
respond to all the threats, personal insults, lies, and assumptions
because they're so baseless that it's almost impressive.

I spoke to Gerald on the phone today and he seemed just as confused
as myself. I know that I have a wild persona, or whatever, but I
think that Grandma's House needs to take responsibility for
sabotaging itself and stop mud-slinging the blame onto myself and my
band, AND my friends.

I can't presume to rehash what actually happened because I was not
there, and neither were Ned or Gerald.

I was on the phone with Patrik when he was outside. He told me that
Chris had been punched and he didn't know what was going on, and
then I heard someone screaming at him and he sounded scared and then
he hung up.

Thank you to everyone who came to the show, we were stoked to be
playing again and can't wait for our next one. TEAM TIGERS!!!

You know, we're sorry about what went down that night because in the
past we've enjoyed playing at Grandma's House. But when our friends
are being accused, bashed, and threatened, that's really fucking
lame and it makes us disrespect the people who are acting like that.
We love playing shows and everything but we love our friends too.

I didn't vandalize anything. I have witnesses to my whereabouts probably for
the whole night. I hate when people vandalize shit. You can actually

Okay, first off, EAT MY ASS. That doesn't make you gay, it makes you a
loser. You have no idea what it's like. Think about that.

And second off, these statements are then followed up by things like "Oh no
he got called a name! What a bitch! I WANT TO KICK HIS ASS."

I would think you're being ironic, but then I remember that you're all
brainless jocks. It'd be a really funny joke otherwise.

In any case... am I scared? Yes. And that makes people want to beat me up
more. It's such crazy macho bullshit. Christopher is smaller than I am, and
that guy who beat him up would only do it when his back was turned, and he
wouldn't go near J.R. (THE BIG DERBY HAT GUY). I hope you all feel like big
men. And I hope that when I looked you in the face and told you that you
don't know who I am and what you were fucking with and that you would never
have shows again, that it's working out for you.
