wouldn't put it past some Brooklyn/San Fran bar to do that at all. Funny that it's like double the price of craft beer.

it's also the funny joke item not to be actually ordered, like when a "fancy" burger place has a bunch of $10 range burgers and then one burger that's like $1000 and has gold flakes and comes with champagne

i bet that's totally real -- they had 40s on the menu (in a bag that you could leave with) at a pizza place in crested butte, colorado, ten years ago (this place: http://www.secretstash.com/)

the genius of it is that you could bring in your own beer in a brown paper bag and if they questioned your outside beverage you could strongly insist it's none of their business, as anyone drinking out of a paper bag rightly would

yeah, i lost a good amount of time yesterday watching that playlist as well (i never finished it). it sometimes veers into "dumb people hurting themselves and other" jackass style territory, but not very often, and at any rate most of the clips are so short that it's easy to wait a few seconds and move on to the next one
― Karl Malone, Monday, 19 December 2016 21:09 (seven years ago) link
i should be finished soon.there's a fair amount of garbage but the highs are very high

Question: Would Sheryl Crow approve?
Answer: Not only would she approve, she's the one that recommended them to me. Her pre-Shittens classic from quite a few years ago "Strong Enough" was actually written about the inefficacies of simple 2-ply. She opened with the lines that tell it all... "God, I feel like hell tonight, Tears of rage I cannot fight..." Then just goes on and on about how she needs someone strong enough. Her producers had her modify the original lyrics "Are you strong enough to clean my can" to what we currently know them to be for fear of poor reception by the general public. Once she tried Shittens, Cheryl was hooked, and thanks to her, so am I.

my favorite wikipedia paragraph of all time:
Upon release Vibrations had initial success due to its gritty realism and uncompromising (and unconventional) character development. But Vibrations gained a loyal underground following and quickly became a cult classic, helping propel electronic music into the 21st century.
