i have something to say about the offseason THE 2016 NBA OFFSEASON

legit curious why parsons chose the rotting grizz over the up and coming Blazers tho, like is he just a sunshine and bbq guy

players definitely don't have the same perception of team trajectories that us armchair GMs do

i felt like last year was gonna be the mavs and grizz last year in the offs but maybe the grizz can squeeze another year or 2 in now

i was prepared for some crazy deals but i was NOT prepared for evan turner 4/75

am i crazy or even when evan turner got "good" under brad stevens he wasn't actually any good

he was pretty good as a 6th man down the stretch

evan turner has been an NBA twitter whipping boy for too long for many people to accept that he got pretty decent

im really sad parsons is going to memphis

it would be hilarious if conley doesn't come back

re: turner by "pretty decent" i mean "works well under proper supervision in good system." which i think stotts can offer; it's not dissimilar to brad's

he def improved his offrtg...93 at its nadir to 102 last year. career high 4 win shares last yr. terrible 3pt shooter, though he's shooting it less often from distance. def an incredibly shrewd move to give him almost $20 million each year while he figures out some basic shit abt basketball.

This guy is on the top of my list of guys who will slip through the cracks and be wildly underpaid.

Beating a dead horse but that's the most fascinating thing about this era to me. These teams all go crazy the first month and then good players get contracts that are actually lower than what a fair market value would have been before the insanity.
