Magic's threes were just ridiculous. You simply can't defend against that. Fucking shit. I can't fucking believe the Cavs are gonna lose this series. I want to cry now.
― Mr. Snrub, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 03:55 (fifteen years ago) link
we will win three straight.

― Mr. Snrub, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:00 (fifteen years ago) link
i think i picked the cavs in like 5 or 6 before the series, but now i cant understand why. orlando creates so many matchup problems and the cavs have exactly one (1) player who isn't completely worthless
― i am rubber, t u.r.koglu (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:00 (fifteen years ago) link
I will now gouge out both of my eyeballs with a rusty spoon. Goodnight all.
― Mr. Snrub, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:02 (fifteen years ago) link
does anybody in the league matchup well with orlando? they're just put together so oddly, such a weird hodgepodge of players.
― a short guy with a lot of power (Clay), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:02 (fifteen years ago) link
it really reminds me of the mavs-warriors series where you look at it like "wow this is just a horrible horrible match up for the favorite" - i mean the magic look invincible right now but they almost lost the series to the sixers and it makes sense if you think about it - the sixers if anything are super atheltic with thaddeus young, igoudala, donyell marshall, willie green etc
― hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:05 (fifteen years ago) link
it's cuz they're put together by disney xp
― collardio gelatinous, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:05 (fifteen years ago) link
well the nuggets def would - birdman would be huge in that series cuz he could conceivably match up with turkoglu and/or lewis on pick and rolls - and they have good athleticism with jr, melo and dahntay jones
― hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:06 (fifteen years ago) link
nene/martin would be a good combo to throw at super dwight as well

this is otm. don't think the magic would have a chance in hell against either la or denver.
― a short guy with a lot of power (Clay), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:08 (fifteen years ago) link
the "matchup problem" boils down to dwight howard imo
― collardio gelatinous, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:08 (fifteen years ago) link
nah it's really the turkoglu/pietrus/lewis combo - dwight had some huge games in the sixers series and the magic lost both
― hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:10 (fifteen years ago) link
regular season might not count for much but orlando handed the lakers a couple of loses. i'd rather see cleveland
― carne asada, Wednesday, 27 May 2009 04:11 (fifteen years ago) link
yeah there aren't a lot of guys in the league who have the combo of speed, size and shooting ability of turkoglu and lewis. to have two of those guys on the floor at the same time presumably drives opposing defenses a little wacky.
