It is hard to not get excited when Odom has 11 boards.

Oh, and I love Shannon Brown.

this is a huge win for LA, and for odom in particular. infuses confidence throughout the team.

man fell asleep just as la was making their run last night - nuggz in a tough spot no doubt

ice cr?m, Thursday, 28 May 2009 13:25 (fifteen years ago) link

Yeah Denver's in big trouble. Still rather be them than the Cavs though.

Alex in SF, Thursday, 28 May 2009 16:05 (fifteen years ago) link

I still feel the Cavs are more likely to make the Finals than Denver.

collardio gelatinous, Thursday, 28 May 2009 19:32 (fifteen years ago) link

yea xp i went from thinking the cavs were basically a sure thing to like wtf?!?! after the last two games. don't wanna say it won't happen but it's pretty unlikely. bummer, i totally thought this was our year, was looking soo good. tho i can at least still happily say that they still have a chance

mark cl, Thursday, 28 May 2009 19:35 (fifteen years ago) link

xp on paper maybe, but watching the games it seems hard to believe that the Cavs can win three straight against an Orlando team that has been basically owning them for the entire series (albeit not by a huge margin), year, last couple of years.

Alex in SF, Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:27 (fifteen years ago) link

yeah id give the nuggz a better shot say:

den 20%
clev 12%

mike brown, coach of the year.

a short guy with a lot of power (Clay), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:07 (fifteen years ago) link

eh, im not sure there's anything brown could do in this series. the cavs need a serious overhaul of their roster imo. they have way way too much deadweight

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:20 (fifteen years ago) link

they need an athletic swingman - i think they should try and trade for marion or j rich

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:20 (fifteen years ago) link

or jamison

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:20 (fifteen years ago) link

delonte west is not a starter, varejao is not a starter

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:21 (fifteen years ago) link

delonte would be like... the 7th best player on the magic?

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:27 (fifteen years ago) link

yeah the roster is obviously awful, it just also seems like when you blow a 20+ point lead for the third time in a series that you're getting killed in then there's something wrong with the coaching staff.

a short guy with a lot of power (Clay), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:28 (fifteen years ago) link

yeah maybe but im not sure what the cavs coaches could do. like, tonight's big lead was def a mirage. the cavs started the game 10/11 and the magic couldn't hit a shot, so of course it was going to even out

hazmat yayo (J0rdan S.), Friday, 29 May 2009 02:30 (fifteen years ago) link

hey "boobie," save the preening for when you team isn't hanging on by a thread.
