i think him having missed that stretch of games due to injury/needing to rest knocked him out of the conversation, whether that's fair or not is a worthwhile question but I think betting against steph is a fool's errand at this point

also there are very good reasons for them to do that even if he is a great defender, chiefly that he has a gigantic offensive workload
