@mikefreemanNFL Letter from Goodell to owners is lengthy and I'm going through now. Impressive, sweeping changes re domestic violence.
This is pretty cool, if overdue.

interesting and good. makes me wonder what the reasoning was on the ray rice case and what info/footage was not released to the public.

Roger Goodell still showed he was pretty f-ing clueless in his original response as any of these idiots can look smart if you give their lawyers and PR people two months to write up a response. You get paid that kind of money, you shouldn't be blowing these kind of situations, but hey the league making shite tons of money, so it's water under the bridge at this point.
I've really had to turn down my radar on following football as the shit has gotten so deep with the whole thing. I can still get lost in it watching a game, but the NFL seems to be hellbent on killing the golden goose (and the game itself is probably killing a good portion of the players anyway).
I think a decent ILE thread could be started on what is the most corrupt and inept sporting league management in the world. I guess the good thing about the NFL's BS is it's still stuck mostly just to America's heel unlike the Olympics, F1 or UEFA.

Derek Carr just won the Raiders starting QB job in almost incredibly impressive fashion.

I can't even imagine how much it must hurt
cut your hair, and if you want to keep em, tape the dreads to the bottom of your helmet :D

Hard to have much sympathy. I always found shorter hair worked better with football. I shaved my head my entire career.

I know when they were doing the draft breakdowns, some of the clips of Carr at Fresno State were pretty impressive, he's got some power in that arm.

Michael Sam cut.
― Prince Kajuku (Bill Magill), Sunday, 31 August 2014 02:14 (nine years ago) link
Champ Bailey got cut by the Saints. Quite a few big corners moved to safety as their career went on but I'm not sure Bailey is near the hitter like Charles Woodson or especially Rod Woodson.

Consummate tackler in open field, amazing even Imo, but not a hitter.

You play safety you got to be able to knock running backs backwards.
