Miami at Carolina* → Panthers are rising, and the wildcat formation is on vacation this week with Brown out.
Pittsburgh* at Kansas City → Stillers take this one with ease after losing to the Bengals last week.
Washington at Dallas* → Skins victory can be chalked up to circumstance. A punchdrunk Cowboy team snaps out of it and wins.
Buffalo at Jacksonville* → Jacksonville does to the Bills what the Titans did to them last week. Jack Del Rio may even flip the bird.
Seattle at Minnesota* → Vikings sleepwalk through this game, Seahawks keep it close but still lose.
San Francisco* at Green Bay → I know the 49ers only barely beat Chicago, and Green Bay is a better team, but I think Crabtree may break out this week.
Cleveland at Detroit* → I really could give a shit about this game, but I'll go Lions at home.
Atlanta at New York Giants* → Atlanta is falling apart and the Giants are full-on broken, but I think the G-Men pick up a W in this game.
Indianapolis* at Baltimore → The Flying Peytons had to pull off a miracle win in Week 10. Nothing like that will be necessary here.
New Orleans* at Tampa Bay → Saints defense was a few men down against the Rams, and the game was too close for comfort. This one might be too, but Saints still win.
San Diego* at Denver → Denver won the first meeting. The Superchargers win the second.
Cincinnati* at Oakland → Cincinnati is turning into one of my favorites this year, not only for Ochocinco either. I see them stomping Oaktown 35-7 (get it?).
Arizona* at St. Louis → Rams are gradually improving, but it won't matter. Cardinals are a dominant road team.
New York Jets at New England* → The Jets stole a win the first time they met this year, but New England should seal this game up before halftime.
Philadelphia* at Chicago → I don't know why I keep picking the goddamned Eagles, except Chicago will probably turn it over >4 times.
Tennessee* at Houston → Titans are completely turned around at this point, and I think the Texans are gonna get publicly humiliated.

9-6 in week 10, 97-47 on the season.

Statement from Titans Owner K.S. 'Bud' Adams, Jr.

Posted Nov 16, 2009

“I need to apologize for my actions yesterday near the end of the game. I got caught up in the excitement of a great day, but I do realize that those types of things shouldn’t happen. I need to specifically apologize to the Bills, their fans, our fans and the NFL. I obviously have a great deal of respect for Ralph Wilson and the history we have shared. I also understand there will probably be league discipline for my actions and I will accept those.”

9-6 last week, 94-50 on the year (terrible)

Miami at Carolina* - carolina is coming around in a big way
Pittsburgh* at Kansas City - silver lining for kc: they just won a game
Washington at Dallas* - dallas, zzz
Buffalo at Jacksonville* - jax steadily improving
Seattle at Minnesota* - brett favre, 17 td and 3 int? weird.
San Francisco at Green Bay* - green bay will dominate, rodgers won't throw 5 ints
Cleveland at Detroit* - cleveland is really the worst team in the nfl at this point
Atlanta at New York Giants* - don't know what's wrong with ATL. they might steal this one but i'm picking NYG anyway.
Indianapolis* at Baltimore - balt's O won't be able to keep up
New Orleans* at Tampa Bay - kinda miss new orleans running up 50 pts per game.
San Diego* at Denver - san diego looks as good as they've ever looked right now
Cincinnati* at Oakland - i can't wait for ochocinco's tweets this week
Arizona* at St. Louis - pretty funny that warner's replacement is so mediocre now and warner's playing like it's '99
New York Jets at New England* - i pity the fools (the jets)
Philadelphia* at Chicago - time to start picking against my team ;_;
Tennessee* at Houston - houston not really impressing lately

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/11/17/cribbs-injury-was-set-up-by-fourth-time-out-for-the-browns/

As it turns out, the Stanford-band play that ended Monday night's game with Browns receiver Josh Cribbs being carted off the field should have never happened.

Not just because the play shouldn't have been called, but because the Browns never should have been in position to call the play. In fact, the Browns never should have gotten the ball back at the end of the game.

The Browns never should have gotten the ball back because they took -- and were awarded -- a fourth time out during the second half.

will.i.ban (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:05 (fourteen years ago) link

xxxxxxp i guess it depends on how talented you think the texans are--i think they have enough good players to compete but routinely blow games. when that becomes a pattern to me it's a coaching issue.

omaha deserved 311 (call all destroyer), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:39 (fourteen years ago) link

well yeah exactly - they're good enough to compete, not good enough to dominate. when you're merely competetive and play a ton of close games, whether or not you pull ahead in those games is one of those things that i consider to be essentially up in the air - that's why i'd be nervous about the bengals (who appear to be pretty good, but not great) if i were a cinci fan right now, they've played NOTHING but close games and are probably a little lucky to have pulled ahead in so many of them. the texans are solid-to-unexceptional in most areas, aside from their handful of star players they have a lot of dudes who are basically just, y'know, guys. if they had better talent they'd be winning more decisively imo.
