The one on the left I always knock off when mounting something a little too wide. The one on the right has no good way to attach or remove, so I'm always cutting my hand with it. The one in the middle is a little of both.

Never come across the middle type, but the one on the left = totally missing the point of "cage" nut, and the one on the right = total total total total total total total total total PITA to insert/remove

I have a tool that supposedly is for removing and inserting the nuts on the left, but it works like shit and so I am the real tool when I use it. I mean, it's still those fiddly little free screwdrivers for me.

Er, the ones on the right, not the left.
The ones in the middle get bent out of shape ( just like that) and also impede mounting of wide things.
