― jortin shartgent (harbl), Monday, 11 January 2010 13:27 (fourteen years ago) link
tbqh honest i don't "get" seltzer water, you don't need bubbles in plain water...right?
― Radio Birdman Rally (King Boy Pato), Monday, 11 January 2010 20:58 (fourteen years ago) link
you don't need them but they are nice to have
― harbl, Monday, 11 January 2010 21:59 (fourteen years ago) link
I dunno, if I have water then I would like normal ordinary water. No bubbles and certainly none of that Vitamin Water guff.
― Radio Birdman Rally (King Boy Pato), Tuesday, 12 January 2010 00:05 (fourteen years ago) link
no, definitely no vitamin water

when i was on my way home from sc i asked the flight attendant for seltzer and he was like 'people like to say seltzer!' like the seinfeld bit. it was cute. and he gave it to me w/ a lime! so fancy, that one.

lol wait what no one drinks this in america, when i went to italy ppl were like "gas or still" when i ordered water which blew my mind
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 12 January 2010 05:20 (fourteen years ago) link
that's true, gaseous water is wayyyyy more popular in europe!in fact, also a standard question in peru.
― tehresa, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 05:22 (fourteen years ago) link
also in oz. but plain old gas/fizzy/carbonated water is not the same stuff as soda water/seltzer is it?
― jabba hands, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 05:24 (fourteen years ago) link
essentially. i mean i'm sure there are slight diffs (some ppl are really aggro about club soda vs. seltzer) but if you wanna drink fizzy water it's basically all the same. maybe seltzer has finer bubbles?
― tehresa, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 05:26 (fourteen years ago) link
hi harbls

harbl, I have an idea: WATER BIATHLON
It is an exciting sport where you will have to swim with a gun to your target and then shoot at it. Then swim with a gun to the next target and so on until you finish.
It will be EXCITING.
― Hangin' with Tommy Cooper (King Boy Pato), Sunday, 14 February 2010 03:31 (fourteen years ago) link
ok but i think it has to be a waterproof gun, or maybe part of the game is you have to hold the gun above your head while you swim
― harbl, Sunday, 14 February 2010 03:35 (fourteen years ago) link
interesting answer harbl
