The Bad Samaritan

So we got these cheesy cards at one of the bars I regularly DJ at with invitations to the bar's christmas party, and mine had had this inscribed which I would classify as search:

<i>"Wishing you ... a dream to bless, a star to guide and peace and harmony inside!" 1 Corinthians 16:23</i>

But checking my NSRV translation, 1 Corinthians 16:23 is the second to last verse of the whole book: <i>(23)The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. (24)My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus.</i>

So I'm thinking that's a really interesting translation, is my point.

The stuff about women was probably interpolated by a later author.

Anyway, search: the social message of the book. I love how egalitarian it all is.

Incidentally, J0hn, I've always really loved that part of "Love, Love, Love."
