Also, I can't smell when various dairy products have gone bad. Instead of supertaster, I am probably just wired funny.

Nuking 50/50 water and vinegar works for me...it's also good for loosening stuff spattered inside the microwave, if you nuke it a good long time and let it get steamy in there. Not that I'd EVER leave spatters inside a microwave for a few days before I cleaned it out, noooooo.

sometimes i get lazy and the plastic tubs of precut fruit tempts me but they fruit is always overripe and tastes faintly of plastic and death
