Can I just raise this to the whole "apparently trying to look retarded" fashion among hipster kids today? Because the Downs glasses are often coupled with a really awful Goodwill chic outfit, in my experience. Essentially, trying to look like a second grade class photo ca. 1984. Let's just stop it.

xp - no worries - is that really a 2009 thing? I remember hearing it a lot in 2005 and being mystified as to its origins, and it's been an ongoing expression since.
