I am going to go out with my friends Suzy and Leon and get very drunk at a bar my friend Martin is DJ-ing in. Hurrah. I haven't gone out and got very drunk for ages. Someone stop me if I star posting at 2.30 in the morning.

Tonight I play my first show (on synthesizers) with Lights Like Windows, who I only played with for the first time last Monday. I'm kinda nervous but more excited, as I know lots of people will be coming out for this. I love that this band is very improv oriented but not at all a "jam band", it's the kind of thing I've been wanting to do for quite some time. Then when we get done I'm gonna drink gin & tonics and proceed to make a fool of myself in front of a great many awesome girls that I won't end up making out with by the end of the night.

To work at the bar directly after school for the third day at work. Home and to bed somewhere between 3 and 4 tomorrow morning.

I haven't had more than six hours of sleep in the past two days. Will probably fall asleep standing up tonight.

Djing. They only asked me if I wanted to do it this afternoon at 4.
It's the first time I've djed properly at a club (although an indie one), where I have to get people to dance. I've only done it in a bar before, with everyone drunk. and noone danced. eek

How do you get Gene fans to dance?

Watched Bad Santa after classes. Then went to the pub at half 3 and drank til 8. Settled some differences with an old friend. Going getting some food after this post and then watch Scary Movie 3 I think.

Went to the ICA for some Deep&Meaningful sortofplay with dry-ice lighting and a soundtrack of heartbeats, and then home to laze about, look up cake recipies, and contemplate watching my shiny new Infernal Affairs II VCD.

I will: Put on Golden Boy & Miss Kitten. Make some dinner. Drink one extra 3 glasses of wine while cooking that shit. Get in trouble with girlfriend when she gets home. But not too much. It's NYC, so it's goona be cold. We'll go to a Brooklyn bar. But we're kind of poor, so won't stay long. If it's not late, we might watch Spinal Tap (weirdly, she's never seen it). If it is, cuddling under the covers.

Friday night happened. I played a good gig and had a good Chilean tuna steak sandwich. Girlfriend went out with friends and isn't home yet. Dizzee Rascal is great when drunk for some reason. Guess I'll go to bed.

It was great walking home in the rain last night.It was the kind of rain that gets to you regardless of wether you have an umbrella or not. There was a moment when everything was so silent and it felt like I was somewhere else completely. I wasn't drunk.

This proved to be horribly true. I have bruises on both knees, blood under my right foot big toenail, and I have somehow aquired an orange feather boa.

Earlier in the evening I remember my friend Leon and I discovered a piano disguised as a table in the bar we were in. I can't sing, he can't play. We did a jazz version of Three Blind Mice, with me perched on the edge of the piano, cigarette in hand. A girl told me I looked like Jessica Rabbit. I was made up at the time, but now I think she was either being sarcastic or as drunk as we were.

I am a hungover girl who aims vomiting.

It is actually. I think it came from my friend C's office where we went when the bar shut (central, more booze, good stereo, cool stuff to play with.) We were playing on a scooter. I wiped out twice. This is where the bruises came from. Great evening out. I can think this now the hangover has abated slightly.

I am so tired, I drank loads of guinness and told the barman in my local he looks like a hen, and everyone calls him "the hen". It's true but he's an ok guy I didn't need to hurt him really! Funny though

I watched the film Mike's Murder. Debra Winger plays a bank teller whose having an on-and-off affair with a guy who ends up getting killed in a drug deal. She's not quite ready to admit he's gone and ends up learning more than she should about his life. Winger did a great job. I also ordered a bacon and extra-cheese pizza, which they burnt. I still ate most of it.

I made dinner and then spent a while trying to tether my phone to my computer with no luck and now I am watching more of the wire (will probably finish s4 tonight). Blah. I should go out but Friday night seems too scary and I will wait for a nice Monday or something.
