I really do think it's better than Deluxe, and it's still a much fresher album to me than Gilded Palace, which I've listened to nearly to death.

well after doing some reading on the subject it seems some of the later incarnations of the FBB had no original members whatsoever. which doesn't NECESSARILY mean they suck, but would seem to point in the direction of mediocrity, at the least.

OTM. Also, not sure what album it's on, but "Wind and Rain" (a Gene Parsons song) is a classic

on the basis of a few mid-eighties youtubes, I am going to say dudThey do "Mr. Spaceman," "It Makes No Difference" & "Cash on the Barrelhead" & seem mostly like an average cover band or whatever besides sneaky pete on the steel guitar, although apparently he wasn't always at gigs
if they had no actual connection to Gram, Chris, or hell, even Michael Clarke, why call it the Flying Burrito Brothers? Just call it something else

there are a bunch of albums w/o even sneaky pete, so it was a completely different lineup from that of the 1st two albums

Weren't they like the Rat Pack in that the group of people to originally have the name precedes and is different to the classic line-up anyway?
