"good plane/bathroom read. "

i read that as "good plane bathroom read." which made me wonder if the book was equipped with those antishake devices used for steadicams.

Haha, it'd have to be a lot shorter as well.

I never said I liked their stuff, read my initial post you twerp. Troma's inhouse productions are invariably dud and always star Lemmy and Ron Jeremy.

The first DVD I ever saw was Troma's "Bloodsucking Freaks" and I loved it. The interactive menus and extras were far more imaginative than any other DVD I've yet seen. But then, I was watching it with a bunch of people and getting drunk at a party. Wouldn't want to watch Troma alone and sober, I'm guessing.

"Bloodsucking Freaks" is one of these films I class under, "reprehensible". I'd maybe watch it again at knife point.

CRW (CRW), Monday, 31 May 2004 14:52 (nineteen years ago) link

Bloodsucking Freaks was made by porn people which is why its so icky.

My favorite movie that Troma distributed would have to be: Caution-Children At Play. One of my favorite killer kidz movies ever.

I almost got an internship at Troma years ago when my beardo friend totally cockblocked me. Their dingy main office had 20 crates full of Surf Nazis Must Die DVDs. It could've been heaven.

my roommate in college was an intern there for a while and quickly became in charge of acquisitions since kaufman couldn't suffer paying an actual staff. said roommate went on to show his penis on british tv for the (very short run) troma tv series, as i'm told

Class of Nuke'em High might be the perfect '80s high school movie.

A double feature of this and Rock and Roll High School might be awesome enough to melt off an entire audience worth of faces.

I need to rewatch Class of Nuke 'Em High. One of my biggest disappointments was getting beaten out on doing an internship with Troma back in college. My classmate who got it told me they had boxes filled with unsold DVDs of Surf Nazis Must Die.
