I like the idea of two 8-team leagues.

we need a roll call of the disenfranchised so we know if we have 16. if so i think 2x8 would be cool. sucks to have to turn anyone away.

Some people with no life during football season (like me) could probably play in both if necessary.

I've never done this and don't know if I'll have the time, but if you need an extra head to make it to 16 I'll give it a shot. Probably come in 8th, though.

what about two leagues of 10? I'd bet there's at least ~15 people who would play, and (at least) 5 who'd be willing to play both.

Yeah, we're trying to sort out how we'll split it into two separate leagues.

There's got to be about 24 people right? Somebody start a new 12 man league and we'll bump it up to 15/16 as is needed.

I am a fan of deep leagues, for what's it's worth. Extra challenging.

This is weird. We were scrapping just to get 12 people last year, and now there's almost enough to start two leagues (in JUNE).

same reason Polyphonic says; with an 8 man league, everybody has a great starting lineup and a decent backup. With a 15 man league, you have to take some calculated risks. I hate watching one guy sew up the whole season with a lucky draft.

That's what happens in a big league! I like small leagues, where everybody's got talent, there's more talent available throughout the season, and everyone has to manage it properly all season long.

Obviously if there's this much interest this year (though I'm not convinced that there really is), what we need is an 8 and a 12+, and everybody can be in the type of league they prefer.

I say, the more the merrier. Would like all the ILNFL regs to have their own team to increase acrimony during the season.
