yeah i eat pasta as much as anything else, but i mean it's basically just an edible container for actual food

and are choosing the more varied and flavoursome dish

I eat way more indian food than pasta and absolutely prefer indian food to italian food, but curry is just a spice to me

yeah but this poll was started by persons who do not generally mean the spice when they say "curry."

I mean we could get into the whole history of of the use of the term "curry" which is a whole diff colonial-related thing or we could just admit that the group of dishes included in what Britishers mean by "curry" just knocks pasta out cold

Bacon, Chicken, Pasta, Salad. (Though I would take pizza or hard cheeses over bacon, fwiw.)

What exactly are the hard cheeses under question here? Cheddar? Parmesan?

well I hear ya but I've done my time as a veggie and there's enough special meats that I miss too much to go back to it

I've done my time as a veggie too - I didn't get enough iron. I'd be vegetarian if I could be a lazy one. no real attachment to meat tbh.

I'm fortunate in that my job allows me luxuriant amounts of time in the kitchen when I'm not away - I'm the cook in my house, & I usually start meal-planning for dinner around midday. When I'm out on the road at work, eating well is a challenge for sure
