this week's ep was great!

Agree Garda, these naysayers are crazy. The scene at the dinner table, with Kenny describing his sexual adventures (while the million year old grandma cackles) is one of the best so far.

i didn't like last week's but the first week and this week were good. the titties/ass discussion was hilarious too.

good again this week. the bit where he flipped the finger to the coach and went right, then left, then rose up from beneath the window made me laugh so hard.

that whole first scene with Don Johnson killed. Slits at the end made me kind of sad tho.

the whole "have you ever rode a jet ski up a mountain" exchange was amazing.

this season is making me really think about how much i liked the supporting cast from season 1, ditching everybody except Stevie, who's for me perhaps the most unpleasant character on television right now, has pretty much killed whatever amount of enjoyment i got from this show.

yeah stevie isn't funny at all really, i hoped they'd only brought him back for one ep but no. this most recent ep was back to shitness really after two good ones...

He doesn't seem like a good actor either. His timing is really weird.

the only times he's funny are as a foil for kenny to be selfish/awful/arrogant etc. stevie's own lines just aren't funny. the plot is also all over the place this season.

i was thinking this yesterday. stevie is a really funny character but only when he appears in like, one scene an episode. there is really no other supporting cast this scene (at least that appears with any kind of consistency)

I was laughing so hard it was painful. I'm more of a Stevie apologist than most of y'all it seems though, so

penultimate episode almost redeemed this mostly shitty season for me. i've begun to pretty much hate all of Jody Hill's clueless antiheroes, but i think i'd watch a show or movie with Adam Scott playing a slicker more articulate version thereof.

maria's head popping up from under the blanket with a tecate box atop it is among the better tv sight gags i ever did see

last two eps were really good. Feels like a bit of a "b-side" season overall but still one of the funniest things on TV.

i thought stevie got funnier in the last few eps. highlight of the season was probly kenny with don johnson though. jet ski vs. atv convo was awesome

i got feelings during this season that this might be a bad show for assholes and that i might be a bad person for liking it

don johnson was painful imo, having the main character's parent(s) show up and be some older TV icon doing an impression of the main character is one of the laziest sitcom cliches.

if he was 2 1/2 men doing the exact same thing but copping a couple of charlie sheen's mannerisms nobody would call it "great" is all i'm saying

everyone runs to 2 1/2 men.

cliché or not, it worked for me. everybody reacts to Kenny with anger, befuddlement, or supportive acceptance of his character flaws. it was a nice change of pace to have him interact with someone similar to himself, and see how he reacts (sometimes one-upmanship, sometimes impressed by bullshit). I'm glad it only lasted for one episode, but it worked within the context of the show.
