three weeks pass...

I last tried Glasgow over 6 months ago. I wish I were going there again soon, like Sally is.

They are very good, those pictures.

I like the one, where a quiff protrudes into the corner of the frame, but its owner is nowhere to be seen.

Apparently it snowed in Glasgow yesterday. Which was nice. Especially for Stephen, who placed a bet (at 6-1) on that happening back in October.

I stood next to Alex Kapranos at the Woody after the Doctor Spock gig. Except he didn't arrive in time to see Ally. Shame on him. He missed some spectacularly out-of-tune guitaring and some arse wiggling (it got much better though). He's also much shorter than he looks, and in need of a shave. Not the dapper young man I think he thought was.

I will be out of the country the next time D2D play, which is rather a shame. I would maybe have become their stalker or something otherwise.

Ally, Lucy has just said that "dot to dot are the most exciting band since the Rapture" on the Winchester club list... Who said it first, her; you; mental man Murdoch? Is it just coincidence. I think the Rapture are rubbish.

I don't like The Rapture much myself. Murdoch, apparently, said it first. Maybe he doesn't like Ther Rapture either and that was his point.

Damnation, I missed the programme about Lincoln Cathedral last night.

I prefer Big Audio Dynamite to The Rapture. Both bands feature references to horses on tracks, I think.
