I got off lucky; I just found out that a friend of mine's in the hospital as a result of Friday night. OK granted he was somewhere else, but he was somewhere else on purpose to not be around people I was with. Sunday he was found without shirt or shoes and bleeding from his mouth and his cousin drove him to Long Island. In that situation do you inform the girl who just broke up with him last week? We did. It was a hard thing to tell.

Okay y'know I wasn't trying to be rockist or anti-rockist or whatthefuckever with picket fences. I just genuinely liked the show and thought it got suburban weirdness down in a nice way. What the fuck am I missing about why that's so weird? Did I accidentally step on some cult of Lynch or something?

Anyway what I remember from that FAP is some soft-racist jibe from Ramon mostly, along the lines of the following conversation:

Ally: (some story involving weird people watching her or something)... a-and they were *mexicans*!
JM: Mexicans, so?
Ramon: At least they weren't puerto ricans.
