OH! hmmm, well then. choice picks-
Ash Castles on the Ghost Coast: great little psych/folk/drone/weird album from Heather Leigh Murray (Charalambides) and some other guy, forget his name. this was the only record they ever did. has handmade/hand-colored cover art. Wholly Other #2. pretty tough to find, i think, but maybe not in great demand? i liked it, though!
Bill Callahan: selling his latest, Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle. not bad, didn't really strike me like prime-era Smog did, it's much more thoughtfully composed and well-recorded, though, I'd say. you guys posting in anticipate APOCALYPSE, the new bill callahan record are gonna want to be hip to this record before you hear his new one. ;)
Devo: oh for fucks sake, Freedom of Choice is a FANTASTIC record. everyone needs this! only selling this one cuz i got the 2010 remaster.
Beth Gibbons: her record with Rustin Man (Talk Talk) is quite pretty, i never played it much compared to Portishead stuff, but hey. if you're a fan of Portishead, or of Barrow's side projects w/ Beak> and Anika, you'll want to hear this if you havent yet.
Robert Horton: cool little CD on the Digitalis label, pretty much a weird/out drone album with found sounds & such.
Kyuss: this CD is awesome. found a dollar-bin copy... turning it for a small profit, so that i can buy more Kyuss records, obviously. ROCK!
Manitoba: this is Caribou's first album, different name, before he really got great on everything else he did. a snapshot of where he came from. for fans only.
Merzbow: i have too many Merzbow records (they don't ALL sound the same, but yes, some of them do). here are some of them.
OutKast: bought a used copy of the clean/edited version by mistake. adios! (see also: Jay-Z)
Prinzhorn Dance School: this albums SUCKS, trust me. avoid. do not buy it. please don't. you will regret it.
Sade: can't recommend Love Deluxe enough. again, picked up a remastered copy, but i am nice & will let you have my original one. "No Ordinary Love" opens the CD, it is amazing, and you will be sold from that point onward.
Taken by Trees: this is a really pretty record. it didn't stick w/ me, not *quite* my style... but can easily see someone falling for this.
