I will say, playing emulators on the psp is great( depending on the genre). Handheld Chrono Trigger and Link to the Past is great.

if you had more than one account set up before the network went down then you can download more than two games.
as well as my UK account i had a US account set up so i could snoop on the US store and its let me download two more games. thanks Sony!

Good tip although I wasn't interested in anything besides LBP and Infamous. (I already have Wipeout+Fury.)

And now that I realize LBP is realllllly not for me (as I had suspected). Stephen Fry plus cute platforming = braindeath

what kills LBP for me is the moving in and out of the screen, it doesn't seem to control properly, feels kinda broken.

And yes the in and out is fricking frustrating, and they didn't change it for the second one either so they must think it works. But you're right it doesn't, and it works by itself leaving you with no control over it.

I still like it a lot though, Infamous and LBP probably the ones I'd go for if I had none already.

Sooo otm. I was dead excited about this game until I played it. It's fatally boring and it controls like shit. I didn't try designing a level because I was already bored by that point.

I got Dead Nation and Ratchet & Clank as I already had the other three on offer.

Dead Nation reminds me of that PS1 game Bruce Willis did the voiceover for (googles to find... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse_(video_game) ). I enjoyed blasting through a couple of missions but I can't see me going back to it too often. Robotron still rules two-joystick shooters for me.

Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty reminded me of the Robots game (the 2005 movie spin-off) - looks and plays almost identically. My sons like it so I guess they'll get a few hours out of it.

El Shaddai demo hit PSN and I am sadly underwhelmed :( looks AMAZING but the combat (at least the part they're showing off) is easier to spam than God of War.

Is the only way to access the Welcome Back package thru the email they sent out? I'm a little wary of clicking on email purportedly being sent by Sony, for obvious reasons.

I've never had an email during this whole saga. I'm wondering if I opted out of their marketing crap a long time ago and whether doing so also cut me out of important emails like YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN HACKED

the only way i managed to get access to the Welcome Back games was by going to Account Info in the XBMC, then like "Service Detail" or something and choosing "Sony Promos"
