fuck tipping bar people, everyone that i know that works in a bar gets paid cash so gets dole money and housing benefit and probably djs a night or two each week and they get free drink and fags and i'm totally not jealous that i don't have the balls to live life like that

If you're like me, when you're in a foreign country you just leave all the loose change you won't want to drag in to cash in and add $5 on top

when I went to summer camp in china in 9th grade, we left a tip for the housekeeper on our last day. right before we got on the bus, one of the hotel staff came running out and told us that we had forgotten some money on the dresser.

it's wrong about the uk (service charges are rarely included) and germany (lol "dollars are accepted but euros are appreciated")

10-15% in restaurants unless a service charge is included, round up in taxis, and no tips anywhere else (unless i'm forgetting something)
