yeah i mean i have no great desire to leave my area but i don't hate on the cray, there's lots of really nice parts of it and it's probably the best value housing in town at the mo

dead set there is a footscray/yarraville rental cult atm (I even tried that on with you trayce iirc)

it's not really a surprise though imo, i mean for people who need cheaper rent but to be close to town it's entering no-brainer territories

TBH Ive only ever passed thru on the train - I'm not judging the place. I'm annoyed that saying "we have chosen to stay in this area" means getting flooded with "but lol CHEAPER HOUSES" posts and one other dick telling me i need to "lower my standards" (he is a LANDLORD - he can eff right off)

Also its worth stressing, while I work CBD, Nick actuallyt works right up our end of st kilda rd, so moving west would be insanely pointless.

TBH I'd happily live somewhere like Sandringham or Aspendale but hilariously thats eveb more expensive.

I have to say if I moved to Melbourne, I would certainly consider Footscray. Regular trains to city, not concerned about it being a dodgy area (because duh, I live in Redfern and love it), convenient if I wanna go to see my sis, or where my parents are moving to as well.

Also because once I saw a Metro bit of signage advertising service interruptions/bustitution, and it was mistyped as "Footscary" and I liked that.
