I am pretty disgusted with NR firing Derbyshire over this. Derb’s article was on Taki’s time, not yours. He is an amazing intellectual (undergoing chemotherapy, no less), and you are playing the cheap games of the left by simply smearing him as a racist rather than engaging his arguments. Have you read the article to which he was responding in kind (External Link )? Derb is not a racist, he is the antidote to this kind of mindless brain-washing to which everyone – everyone – on the left subscribes. John Derbyshire stands athwart history yelling stop. NR is losing its compass.
