yeah seems to me its purported creepiness is more an extension of it being forced on people involuntarily and, perhaps earlier on, due to its crudity as a method

This last episode was pretty much perfection, I think. Far surpassed any film I've seen in the last... 3 years or so. Just... really great.

watched this again last night - my opinion of Megan's mother is unchanged. when she comes in to find Megan in bed she's the one who starts going on about how the world can't fulfill all the dreams of little girls, that she's being lazy. Megan lashes back with the "is that what you tell yourself" comment but then her mom calls her "an ungrateful little bitch".

this is shitty parenting.

Did this actually happen? Every episode (ads included) seemed to run longer than an hour this season.

The eps on itunes were 47 minutes (credits included).

I just watched season 5, all 13 episodes, in four days, for the first time. Saw the last four episodes last night. A lot of things still not letting me go, haunting and enticing me, and I think this was by far the best MM season.

Went to read all the comments here after every episode which has been a treat :-)

i like that there will be a yearlong break (or more). this kind of takes up a lot of time, watching and thinking about etc. moving on to other things.

Jon Hamm: able to offend EVERYONE, remain sexy whilst doing so

his first 30 Rock Live show was better imo but either way, the man deserves some credit for his comedy chops! He's consistent gold on 30 Rock.

I don't think they've said yet, but hopefully they'll keep going with the spring season so I don't have to wait over a year for new eps.

I think AMC is sticking w/spring rollouts for this show from here on out. I just hope they don't split the last season into halves like Breaking Bad.

It's not as plot intensive/obsessed with tying up loose ends as BB, so you'd think a thirteen ep final season should be fine.
