Everyone should listen to the Gainsbourg remix, I've always thought it was one of the best(and most underrated) things he's done.

Oh shit, I knew something would be missing. I just copied and pasted from the remix credits on discogs.

the along the wire remix is such a tank full of bubbles, i will love it forever.

I made a moderator request on the namesake forum to include the missing supermayer remixes. I feel the goyte one could probably pick up a few.

so much awesomeness - sort of leaning towards Perfect Lovers at the moment, but MFA, Je Regrette, Along the Wire could all make it. And it's not here but I love that campy, goth-as-fuck Supermayer remix of Tiergarten too.

it was honestly a struggle not to include a whole bunch of Superpitcher remixes in the electronic musix poll, but I think I cut it down to three or four in the end.

so many great songs here, think I have to vote for M83- Don't Save Us From The Flames (Superpitcher Remix) The best song U2 never thought of.

I voted for Iridium in the end, there's something patient let inevitable about the way he builds up to the guitar solo.

So many melancholic masterpieces in this list. The only producer/remixer I continue to collect on vinyl. Have most of them but didn't even know about the most recent Tocotronic remix with Tobias Thomas! Always a killer combination - their arrangements have a way of complementing the weary/melancholic tone of von Lowtzow's vocals that somehow plugs straight into my nervous system.

Having to pick a favourite from "Perfect Lovers" (Unperfect Love Mix), "Krokus" (Superpitcher Remix), "(This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan" (Superpitcher Kompakt Remix), "Hi Freaks" (Superpitcher´s Beautiful Freaks Mix), "Nothing Is Written (Accidently Overdosed Remix By Tobias Thomas And Superpitcher)", "Wintermute" (Superpitcher Mix),"The Difference It Makes" (Superpitcher Mix), "Je Regrette Everything" (Superpitcher Remix), "Don't Save Us From The Flames" (Superpitcher Remix), "Along The Wire" (Superpitcher Mix), "The Operation" (Superpitcher Remix) is going to be hard. Sweet, but hard.

As mentioned earlier, some Supermayers are missing (LoSoul's "You Know", Gotye's "Heart's a Mess" and Rufus' "Tiergarten" esp., but also Geiger's "Good Evening", Ananda's "Doppelwhipper", Hot Chip's "One Pure Thought") but I'm happy with the focus on Aksel :)

when i saw superpitcher at berghain in berlin last year, he slipped in lots of his own remixes (cheeky!) in between lots of non-obvious stuff, and ended with a flourish at 6 AM with his remix of tocotronic's 'pure vernunft darf niemals siegen'--it was kind of awesome to see hundreds of hardcore muscle marys totally freaking out to tocotronic in the berghain dancefloor, and flexing their huge arm muscles in time with the beat! meanwhile superpitcher was headbanging during that bit where the track spirals out of control and it just goes 'darf niemals siegen,' over and over again. i couldn't stop laughing. i wish i had taken a photo of this (sadly taking photos is verboten in berghain/panoramabar!)

New Superpitcher is forthcoming! First 12" is out and it's gorgeous.

Second 12'' is out, and it's pretty great as well. But this is gonna be a loooong album.
