bansplain (electricsound), Sunday, 21 October 2012 23:40 (eleven years ago) link

what flavour u get

was haaaaard work - that whole 'not riding for a month' strategy kinda destroys your base. i felt mucho fresher when i did near that distance back in august with arthurs seat, which was deffo a harder ride.

Yo Adam do you stil work across the rd from me? I'm gonna be having a lonely drink @ the Mitre (lol I know) to kill 20-30 mins before an Ikea jaunt after work, from about 5.15. Ikea needs a little wine under the belt methinks.

i figger up to a cold thou or thereaboots

gonna be doing lots of kms

bansplain (electricsound), Wednesday, 24 October 2012 00:24 (eleven years ago) link

want flat-bar? look at the permutations on the 'dew' model. http://www.konaworld.com/platform.cfm?content=commuter

look at giant too, always good on value and they just work - bit like the toyota of the bike world. cross-city for flat-bar, defy for drop bar (i really rate these).

http://www.konaworld.com/bike.cfm?content=rove - so hott, would ride dis - prob out of yr range but.

thirstin' maw (haitch), Wednesday, 24 October 2012 00:29 (eleven years ago) link

yeah i'm more after a little phatty than a minimoog if u get me

the dew is indeed the one i am eyeing off

bansplain (electricsound), Wednesday, 24 October 2012 00:34 (eleven years ago) link

try for dew plus if they have one - disc brakes are good on a commuter, less mess for starters

thirstin' maw (haitch), Wednesday, 24 October 2012 00:42 (eleven years ago) link

better stopping if u get caught in the rain

Una Stubbs' Tears (Trayce), Friday, 2 November 2012 03:12 (eleven years ago) link
