But it's not crap. Admittedly, it falls short of his attempt to rekindle the old Cuban Linx flame, but it's still miles ahead of most other hip-hop. FWIW, I think Raekwon is rapping better than any other Wu member nowadays.

criminology 2 is great and his verse on the q-tip rmx is incredible as well - dude still has it (even liked that track that leaked way back when that was supposedly cb2 - the one that had ghost spitting really nasty sex shit on it)

Raekwon's good, but his flow seems a little stilted to me. Also, half the time I have no idea what the fuck he's talking about. Nevertheless, Cuban Linx is one of the greatest hiphop albums of all time.

Well, the production is fucking amazing.

That was RZA at his prime, and to this day I have not heard another producer whose beats can compare to those in terms of cinematics, atmosphere, and innovation.

ive not heard raekwons 2nd album in ages, and have only heard bits and pieces of his american cream team/ice water projects, but im surprised people dont get pissy at him like they do about nas in terms of dropping off, not rhyme-wise (cos he hasnt), but album/song-wise.

I'll admit, the poor guy has horrible taste for beats and guest appearances. :(

What's the vocal sample in the beginning of Kiss the Ring? Before the song kicks in and it goes Elton John there's a male vocal bit that I recognize, maybe from another Rae or Wu track but I'm spacing.
