You should definitely check out the 'La Notte, la Notte' lp, which has his two best singles, "Week-end à Rome" (i.e. the song Saint Etienne turned into "He's on the Phone") and "Le Grand Sommeil".

he's got many great songs : those already mentionned + "tombé pour la france", "epaule tatoo"...
"duel au soleil" and "le grand sommeil" might be some of my favourite french trax ever (with some francoise hardy, jacno and mylene farmer).

yeah "Epaule Tatoo" is probably my fave of his. Basically all his stuff 1981-1985 is pretty great

Warning! The Mythomane LP is a different mix than the CD, so get both. La Notte La Notte is awesome, as is Paris Ailleurs. He has also worked with Marianne Faithfull, Francoise Hardy, Vanessa Daou, O.M.D. and Chris Isaak!
