Super sad right now. I didn't really even begin using it to its full capabilities until about last year at this time, but I've found out about so much great music from there and have gotten into the routine of sharing a song per day. Now I guess I'll have to reboot an old blog or some shit. This sucks.

This convo with Hannah Donovan which goes into detail about how and why they designed This Is My Jam makes me even sadder now, because it seems like maybe her and Matthew Ogle were really the only people who got it.

I signed up. Don't like it very much.

Cymbal appears to be the closest analogue to TIMJ, but it's mobile-only (and, for the time being, iOS-only). Doesn't really work for me.

TIMJ just announced a final date. September 26th.

Seems to be where a lot of folks are migrating. Or letsloop, which I don't quite get.

Let's Loop is dumb. Nusiki is a mess. God's Jukebox is at least being developed by a person who was an avid TIMJer, so the expectation is that over time it will incorporate everything that made TIMJ so wonderful.

I'm hoping so. It definitely looks a little raw right now but there's potential there.

Yeah, I set up a Let's Loop account but I reckon I've looked at it maybe once or twice. God's Jukebox is very similar to TIMJ and I feel a lot more comfortable with it.
