that's why I'm sending it here first, for advice.
was thinking about charging $10, but feel sorta bad about the lack of a stage...
still on the fence...dunno.
I want my friends to be able to afford it too.
but I have to cough up a healthy guarantee for Simon.

$8 or $10 ?
how many people will come to this?

Roger - where do you need directions from?

maybe I'll ask Eric from The SB to record it, but I always space out when it comes to that.
I never think to do it...not even with my own band, even when I've brought and already set up a tape recorder.

$10 is still way cheap. I'd pay that just to see NNCK and Virgin Eye

russ, you may want to talk to Rich at the Social Registry...he has this "portable" reel-to-reel w/ 2 mic set up that sounds really nice, did a bunch of Gang Gang Dance recordings with it...hey may be persuadable.

Sr. Dominguez & Sr. Morena, proprietors of La Nortena / El Bohemio have informed me that the space now indeed has a LIQUOR LICENSE and will be serving cans of beer (Tecate & Dos Equis) for cheaper than $5 on Saturday. It will be a lot of fun. They want me to throw a dance dj on after the show, I don't know, what do you folks think? Otherwise they're putting on their own Nortena / Tejano dj.

by liquor license I don't just mean they can sell beer, I mean they can mix a hell of a margarita, or straight tequila, or mexcal with squirt in it or whatever it is you like.

Saturday will be a really great show. $8 dollars is cheap.
