Also, trying to work out at what point Lord Bolton was supposed to have been tapped up by the Lannisters. Sometime around that scene when he released Jaime and Brienne?

why did nobody mention this kinda weird act? like robb practically disowned his own mother for releasing jaime and then when baldy did it he was just what, too busy to care?

anyway, yes, i can imagine it wasn't entirely clear but everyone involved in the jamie/briene stuff were roose's men and they were apart from the rest of the northern folks. i think you were supposed to infer that this was going on without robb or anyone else's knowledge from the lack of conversation/shitstorm about it. and as for robb and crew finding out about sansa's wedding, i imagine there is no one left in the capital with sufficient sympathy and resources to get a message to them in the required time.
