With a heavy post-punk underpinning, these dozen dark gems are new tracks from a new crop of bands - alternately strident guitars, walls of noise, cold synths, no wave minimalism, and strangely seductive melodies. seattle/portland/vancouver axis of evil makes sense too. they have a lot of sins to atone for up there.

got my twitch and gloam comp in the mail today! sounds amazing! comp of the year. for real. i hope people write about it. this is exciting indie rock to me. i might even write about this and i never write about new stuff. this and the troller album that i got in the mail. soooo good.
