the s/t is one of my fav metal albums of all time, but for me I think this comes down between Headless Children and Crimson Idol.
Headless has my fav W.A.S.P. song, "Rebel in the F.D.G.", sooooo....maybe that one?

Electric Circus underrated and I'm tempted to throw it a mercy vote but going with The Last Command.
I was Blackie Lawless for Halloween once.

Headless Children just ahead of the debut.

Also, if we polled interview scenes from The Decline Of Western Civilization, Pt 2, Chris Holmes would walk that shit.

One thing I always found interesting about W.A.S.P. were the live recordings I've heard. Like obviously Blackie's vocals are throat-shredding and he can't really sing a song front to back like that, so every live track I've heard often has the band playing an extra lead-in measure after the chorus to give him extra time to recharge. Sometimes it even seemed like they were vamping until Blackie was ready.
still one of my fav metal vocalists. I always get chills when I hear him sing "Down in Chainsaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Charlie's morgue"...

one of the interesting tidbits of Enter Naomi by Joe Carducci was the revelation that Blackie was an old Hermosa Beach scene guy and was friendly w/the Black Flag/SST crew

Self-titled all the way. That album had a HUGE impact on me in '84-'85. Great balance of party metal (side one) and shock rock (side two).

so wrong! Headless Children is all kinds of great and I liked Unholy Terror a lot when it came out though I don't know if I'd still feel that way if I heard it again

Seriously, The Headless Children was a shocking return to form when it first came out. "Crazy", from the last album in 2009, was impressive, very "Wild Child"-ish.
