Saw them years ago in R.I. and was very disappointed with the song choices. Never really got into a New Orleans groove.

album loses steam in the back half, but the dylan covers are both great, also link wray's "fire & brimstone", sam cooke's "a change is gonna come". most of the originals aren't quite at that level (title track excepted), but i do like "my blood" and "sister rosa".

"A Change Is Gonna Come" is total Oh Mercy territory, with some dissonant synth leading into the sax solo. Great one.
