well dolan has prob made a lot of money off of MSG

i'm not sure what he cares about

some owners definitely do care about how well their teams do, partic small market teams i would think who depend on large jumps in their teams' popularity to sell jerseys/get on national tv etc, but the knicks are the knicks, they're always gonna be profitable i'd think. dudes in suits are just out there having a good time
