i think lin's PER actually went down last night

i've always wondered if twitter started or merely exacerbated the trend of kids not knowing how to use apostrophes

like when BJ says "JR smith brother". my hypothesis is that people who grew up with twitter are so used to not being able to make proper nouns possessive (because of the @ symbol), and now people just think it's right

yeah jordan is probably right, but the "isn't" is a different thing, the de-possessifying (amazingly safari does not underline this word so i'm leaving it) of proper nous is definitely its own thing in my world of young people
