Spottie, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:33 (ten years ago) link

speights, dude

Spottie, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:39 (ten years ago) link

wait how are the blazers winning, they've played like hell and dubs looked fantastic for most of three quarters

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:46 (ten years ago) link

damn thompson, 30 points on 13 shots, fouls out with 5 minutes to go.

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:51 (ten years ago) link

would watch the hell outta these two in a playoff series

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:52 (ten years ago) link

Spottie, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:55 (ten years ago) link

Spottie, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:56 (ten years ago) link

i have no idea what happened here

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:56 (ten years ago) link

robin lopez averaging about a block per possession in the fourth is one thing i guess

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:58 (ten years ago) link

well the blazers have won 10 in a row, including back to back 21 point and 14 point comeback wins. They won 11 road games last year and have won 7 this November. This is unreal.

Clay, Sunday, 24 November 2013 06:06 (ten years ago) link

they may be good

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 November 2013 06:07 (ten years ago) link

vintage wade dunk i posted about last night

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 November 2013 16:14 (ten years ago) link

The Spurs were already well on their way to a 126-96 victory over Cleveland on Saturday night when Matt Bonner saw his chance.

To say he seized it would be not quite correct. Truth is, Tony Parker handed it to him.

Bonner and Parker arrived at a defensive rebound at the same moment, late in the second quarter of a game that had already become a laugher. Either player could have claimed the ball and started the fast break.

For some reason, Parker — the Spurs' All-Star point guard — backed off, and 18,581 fans at the AT&T Center were treated to about 1.2 seconds of “Magic Bonner.”

The Spurs' 6-foot-10 forward began dribbling upcourt. He raised one finger in the air, miming a play call (“an iso for me, obviously,” Bonner said). And then, in a blink, the dream was dead.

“I would have dribbled through everybody and dunked it,” Bonner said. “Unfortunately, Tony came back for the ball and ruined it. That was the end of my point-guard career.”

magic bonner sounds like a dirty euphemism

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 November 2013 16:23 (ten years ago) link

the blazers will definitely come back down to earth. they aren't the spurs. but they seem like a lock to avoid the lottery this year.

Aimless, Sunday, 24 November 2013 18:52 (ten years ago) link

their point differential is nothing special for a team with such a great record. they're good but i don't think you could call them elite. there look to be only 3 l33t teams right now -- the heat, spurs, and pacers

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 November 2013 18:59 (ten years ago) link

pretty funny how 2 of the 3 best teams in the league are in the east but then the rest of the top 15 are in the west

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 November 2013 19:00 (ten years ago) link

yup

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 November 2013 19:01 (ten years ago) link

tho doubt thatll be true by seasons end
