i haven't seen a them play that much but idk they have the best record in the west, a very good coach, legit top end talent and real depth. seems like a winning combo.

but i was saying this before the season started so \(o_O)/

i mean they probably aren't THIS good. wes matthews' shooting and all. but they're lurking as a west finals contender if they stay healthy.

yeah jordan did call this though i'm not sure if anyone could have predicted wes matthews being an all-star

pelton said pacers have been the best defense ever so far this season, which is kinda goofy imho considering youre comparing a fraction of a season to whole seasons, but regardless they have been vv good

I totally thought Portland upgrading the bench from "trash fire" to "reasonably competent 14 min per game players" was huge because of the ripple effects it would have on the starters but def did not see them or Matthews being this good
