Baseball has always grabbed kids straight out of high school, but baseball has a better structured minor league system, too. The one-and-done has always struck me as a form of collusion between NCAA and NBA, and a restraint of trade anyway.

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 11 December 2013 20:20 (ten years ago) link

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 11 December 2013 20:22 (ten years ago) link

something about having a kid turned a filmschooled total movie snob friend of mine into a completely unself-conscious vertical video shooter, I hope this never happens to me

Clay, Wednesday, 11 December 2013 20:56 (ten years ago) link

my wife does it all the time, I've had many a sit down with her about it.

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 11 December 2013 20:57 (ten years ago) link

i would rather my genetic line die with me than leave a legacy of vertically shot videos of a toddler going down a slide

Clay, Wednesday, 11 December 2013 20:58 (ten years ago) link

haha otm

Al He Miola (Spottie), Wednesday, 11 December 2013 21:00 (ten years ago) link

lag∞n, Wednesday, 11 December 2013 23:43 (ten years ago) link

he was so weirdly reticent, it was obvious he's holding back and doesn't want to say anything about his methods

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Thursday, 12 December 2013 02:08 (ten years ago) link

Turning Crawford into a semi competent temporary point is a serious accomplishment for Stevens

I wouldn't trust him to run to the corner store never mind run an nba team

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Thursday, 12 December 2013 02:09 (ten years ago) link

Hat stickers are wack

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Thursday, 12 December 2013 02:10 (ten years ago) link

the interesting part is that the transformation goes beyond semi-competent--fg% from 40% to 46%, 2 more assists per game, 3-pt % way the heck up, a 14/5/3 line and 19+ per. he's actually, like, a good player

call all destroyer, Thursday, 12 December 2013 02:19 (ten years ago) link

trade him bass green lee rondo asap
