is there a team that josh smith wouldn't make worse

maybe the knicks actually lol

melo 4 josh

le goon (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 17 December 2013 06:10 (ten years ago) link

they're weirdly similar players maybe

The 'P' is a mystery (Clay), Tuesday, 17 December 2013 06:12 (ten years ago) link

Pistons can be competitive from game to game. When two of your starters are two of the streakiest shooters in the league in can click on occasion.

I was kinda interested to see them play before the season but they are pretty gross to watch.

They're very very good at certain things though, because of Drummond. So if your team is weak in those areas (e.g. defensive rebounding), they can be dangerous.

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 17 December 2013 08:36 (ten years ago) link

seems like something he might want to work on at some point.

moullet, Tuesday, 17 December 2013 09:03 (ten years ago) link

ricky is such a bad scorer idk i think he might not make it

lag∞n, Tuesday, 17 December 2013 13:38 (ten years ago) link

Had a dream last night where the Trail Blazers ended up 9th in the West and missed the playoffs

But very specifically it was mentioned in my dream that they had a better record than the East 3rd seed ( don't recall which team it was in my dream)

they really should bump the width up by a foot or so- some guys (lebron) can barely fit their feet between the three line and the out of bounds line in the corners! dudes are just bigger all around for the most part than the days when tommy heinsohn was a burly ass power forward at barely 6'6

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 17 December 2013 22:21 (ten years ago) link

also, why not, it's not like forcing someone out of bounds gets you points, it would just free up more movement for both sides

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 17 December 2013 22:22 (ten years ago) link

btw hall of fame lols by the knicks last night, every gm should just show melo the tape of that possession when presenting him with a lowball contract offer this summer

League officials are less concerned with uniformity and the triumph of math than they are with stylistic appeal, per several team sources who have discussed the issue with the league or attended meetings in which officials brought up the topic.

Man I had always suspected this was the case but sort of weird to see it openly admitted to

if andrew bynum could play like this regularly rather than once every couple weeks the cavs would be, well, around .500 probably but vastly improved for sure

bynum seems to be moving in the right direction and playing alright recently, some games hes not getting too many minutes not sure why

So you feel as though you're often unfairly passed over in favor of someone less deserving, in spite of your merit. Tell me more.

damian was seriously unreal tonight. back-to-back game winners! how often does that happen i mean ffs

The 'P' is a mystery (Clay), Wednesday, 18 December 2013 03:13 (ten years ago) link

All i remember about a crazy streak of game winners was like Linsanity and that one random month that Arenas had before his big contract where he hit what seemed like 8 game winners.

well obv the league is a product to be marketed. i think the concerns are weird though, 3 pointers are fun

Everyone plays on the same court and everyone can take shots wherever they can find them, so what's the concern concerned about?
