Kinda beautiful watching the rest of ILH slowly turn on Harden.

But not as beautiful as seeing Pau smile in-game. Very happy to get behind a Pau/Xhenry/#RamboSwag to snag the last WC playoff spot.

this may be true but the thing about bass is he's always done stupid shit like this. i feel like the more you watch him the more frustrating it is, like his game is limited in the dumbest ways.

Oh totally. I'm super tired of watching him. He has probably the least court/situational awareness of any starter in the league, but he's always made up for it with that automatic jump shot. On the plus side his lack of hoop IQ also seems to be accompanied by a total ability to be unmoved by what's going on around him which made him ideal to play next to KG...and probably would be good to put next to Dwight again

I still want to love James Harden but only playing 50% of the game means I can only enjoy watching him play 50% as much really

He's also picking up disturbingly Wade-ish tendencies hanging back to argue with officials rotating late etc and Wade is terrible so

harden's exactly the same player as he was last year he' just been really cold from 3 to start the year

also houston still has to figure out how to play offense w/ dwight on the team

they feel like a team that could go on a 13 game winning streak or something in the second half

hes getting to the line quite a bit less too

i dunno how to even use sportsVU but i'd bet harden's percentage of drives that end in fouls is about where it was last year but that he's just driving less

his shot selection from what ive seen seems worse than last year too particularly threes

which i you could argue is all howard clogging things up but even so he needs to adjust and basically just stop taking contested pull up threes

Always hated a lot of things about Hardens game. Glad to see the pile on. The head on a swivel waiting to whip one way or another upon any touch just kills me. Also he's really pretty boring to watch. He's like Kevin Martin where they score a lot but it's rarely fun to watch. I don't hate the rockets mainly cos Beverly parsons Lin and even mchale are all pretty root-able. Dwight harden makes it hard tho.

When Houston acquired Harden, iirc ILH was lukewarm toward the deal and thought the rockets overpaid. Then Harden put up all-star numbers and won some (sometimes grudging) admiration. iow, a 'what has he done lately' attitude comes naturally in his case around here. Bulk-shooter-type players with mediocre defensive skills are always on the cusp of becoming a millstone on their team's neck if their stats fall off even modestly.

wade was an elite defender unlike harden though

and whoa i still like harden obvs i just want him to play better. like wade actually , when he struggles he can be really ugly to watch

yeah i was gonna say, harden's bad games, like his 3-14 nodder last night, are just unwatchable

time to shave the beard IMO
