I bought p dece nets tix last year bc I like hoops and why not and half our section was deserted for anything that wasn't OKC/celtics level but technically it was sold out or nearly so

Secondary tix in game day should be easy to scoop up once it's clear the playoffs are not happening

Knicks tickets are never ever cheaper even if the building is on fire and Isaiah is back in charge bc Knicks fans are delusional and lots of ppl want to see at least one game at msg

I'm still lolling irl at "wood toe" btw and need to stop laughing before I need to explain the joke to my wife and get a blank stare

I'm hoping the more aggressive salary floor and luxury taxes will make having Sarver as an owner less of a hardship. Love that team.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 07:59 (ten years ago) link

I've been seeing a lot of speculation that they need to deal one of Dragic/Bledsoe but it doesn't seem like a problem to me. It's actually a realistic version of what Kahn fantasized Rubio-Flynn could be.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 08:04 (ten years ago) link

I never thought it could work but it is working so far obv.

That's the first thing I've read w sarver involved that didn't make him seem like a complete buffoon.

I coulda had season tix for $140 big mistake not swooping those up.

Hope Dirk becomes the first active NBAer w/ full head of grey hair; you see it in football and *aseball, but I can't recall any bball players who stayed in the league long enough / didn't just color it out.

i honestly don't hate the sleeves as much as the huge logo printed on the front

le goon (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 25 December 2013 19:51 (ten years ago) link

It's the vneck that throws everything out of balance imo

乒乓, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 19:56 (ten years ago) link

Was kinda hoping all teams today would shoot a combined > 30% so they could blame it on the jerseys and end the madness for good.

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 19:56 (ten years ago) link

This hard away fella is nice

乒乓, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 19:57 (ten years ago) link

Clear path foul reviews are the bane of the NBA atm

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:35 (ten years ago) link

man, this shitheap called the 2013-14 Knicks

signed, J.P. Morgan CEO (Hurting 2), Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:39 (ten years ago) link

Yeah it's like they're trying to imitate the gravitas of nfl reviews but everybody knows it doesn't matter unless it's a close game in the last 2 minutes of the 4tg

乒乓, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:40 (ten years ago) link

they just need a dedicated reviewer ref who can right things on the fly, give some extra free throws later take some away etc let the game roll

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:43 (ten years ago) link

There's already too much stoppage. I say scrap the clear path rule and give each team a couple "challenges" even be able to challenge a foul call imo could u imagine

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:44 (ten years ago) link

That would be cool too xp

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 December 2013 20:44 (ten years ago) link

Also have that guy review goaltends
